From the moment we walked in, we were received warmly. The staff at this hotel is amongnst the best I've encountered at any place I've stayed. They were quick to help us with our luggage, check in was a breeze and during our whole stay they answered all our questions about the area, made great recommendations and helped us greatly. I forgot to ask the name of the guy at reception on the morning of december 19th and 20th but he was amazing. The whole team was. We also had a great chat with the valet while waiting for our ride to the airport. The hotel itself was also beautiful, that's why I picked it. The restaurant food was fine not great, kind of a miss for be (but I just tried a couple of dishes at dinner). Breakfast was amazing though. I also loved the vibe at the open bar and the library. If I come back to LA, I'll try to stay at this hotel again for sure.

Run don’t walk to Spaghetti Sunday! I rarely have pasta so when I do, my hope is that it’s very special. Well, the Georgian Room did not disappoint. Never have I ever had such a perfect al dente spaghetti. It was divine. The menu allowed a choice of either eggplant parmesan, chicken parmesan or meatballs to go with your spaghetti . The meatball was perfect in size, quantity(3), texture and taste. Spaghetti was dressed in a light tomato sauce which was delicious and zesty. What’s nice is the spaghetti is served separately so you may take as little or as much pasta as you wish. I thought I would have just a little and then I had a lot because it was so so good. The dessert I chose was the brownie sundae and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this cozy boot-lined room for Sunday dinner. You will be so glad you did.

The Georgian stands over Ocean Avenue like a postcard that refused to fade. That turquoise Art Deco facade pulls you in before you even register what you’re looking at. And once you step inside, the whole place wraps you in this cinematic blend of old Hollywood glamour and modern coastal cool. The lobby carries a soft buzz. Locals drifting in for drinks, travelers soaking up the history, staff moving with that polished ease of people who know they’re working somewhere iconic. Downstairs, the restaurant and jazz lounge feel like a secret you were lucky enough to stumble into, all warm lighting, velvet textures, and cocktails that taste like someone actually thought about balance. The rooms keep the magic going. Bright, clean, ocean-kissed, and if you catch sunset from your window, it hits you with a kind of calm that feels almost unfair. Walking back out onto Ocean Avenue, into the ocean breeze, into the bustling sidewalks of drenched in a calming mix of tourists and locals, you realize the Georgian didn’t just give you a stay, it handed you a slice of Santa Monica history dressed up for right now.

I just had THE MOST incredible experience at the (street level) restaurant at The Georgian hotel! I have admired the building and aesthetic for yeeeears, but had never gone in. I figured it was just a standard hotel restaurant. I was wrong, this was magical. First of all, if you're a fan of 1930s design like I am, just sitting down and looking around is a treat. Then there's the gorgeous ocean view. The food was anything but standard, it was honestly one of the top 5 meals I've had in my life. The texture, the flavor, the attention to detail all top level, wow! And last, but definitely not least, the people who work there are so so so amazing. Warm, helpful, fun, and went above and beyond to make my birthday special. I have to give a special shout out to Jonas and Preston who made my entire night, day, probably at least week :) I also took a tour of a room and would LOVE to stay there even though I live in LA, so if you're looking for a truly great place to stay, this is a must! Thank you, thank you!

Fantastic locational and pretty solid service. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. No real issues with the room as the bed was super comfortable and I appreciated that the tv had chromecast. We didn’t experience any long waits for the elevator though we were on the third floor so stairs were an option as well. My only complaints were the noise from the bar/club reverberates up to the third floor well past midnight and you can hear the thumping bass. It’s an old building so sound insulation is not the best. It’s not THAT bad but could be a nuisance for light sleepers. Also, the coffee in the library is completely rubbish and tasted burnt. I get that it’s complimentary but my goodness was it awful. Recommend skipping that. Would stay here again if the price was right.

My recent stay at The Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica was exceptional from start to finish. I booked through American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, and from the warm welcome at the car to the fond farewell at checkout, I was treated like a repeat VIP guest. The Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits were generous and thoughtfully delivered, including a $50 minibar credit, a $100 food and beverage credit, and a complimentary room upgrade to a beautiful suite. Every detail felt intentional and elevated. Haziel at the front desk was especially outstanding—friendly, professional, and thorough, making check-in effortless. The restaurant staff were equally warm, engaging, and attentive throughout the stay. Sirena, the street-side restaurant, provided a stunning backdrop, and both breakfast and lunch were excellent in quality and presentation. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the world-famous Santa Monica Pier, making it easy to enjoy the best of the area. The Georgian blends timeless charm with modern hospitality seamlessly. An outstanding experience and one I look forward to repeating. Highly recommend.
